We mix equally with pine bark and turface to create our blend that is styled after Jupiter Bonsai. Lava Rock is the hardest ingredient to find! We must purchase it by the pallet to get this unique sized pellet. There is a nickel in the photo for size comparison. We then wash and dry the rock to remove any dust or debris. We top all our potted bonsai with straight lava rock to give a more uniform look. Use this bag to top your bonsai, or to mix your own soil. We ship  buckets USPS parcel post.
