The organic wool balls used to stuff this pillow resist the need to attach to each other, which results in keeping your pillow's loft. Other wool pillows can become easily compressed. Also prevents pressure on the ear & face due to the loose nature of these soft balled up woolies. You can occasionally machine wash on hand wash cycle and air dry indoors. Dries fast.
