I purchased the quilt on eBay about a month ago and it is no longer in its original packaging; however, it is in a plastic bag that has not been opened since I brought it home. It is new and unused and Pottery Barn describes it as follows: "A 17th-century French damask pattern in red and orange becomes contemporary when printed on soft, slubby linen/cotton. Quilt is plumped with pure cotton batting.
