Popularized as parlor throws in the 1880's, Victorian "Crazy Quilts" were pieced from valued keepsake fabrics- wedding dresses, prizewinner ribbons, baby clothes, ties, etc. and then embroidered with elaborate needlework. This FULL QUEEN QUILT & 2 QUILTED EURO SHAMS are styled after these highly prized creations and THEY are JUST BEAUTIFUL! The quilt and shams are a catalog return out of the original packages in wonderful condition.  I am thinking that these may have been washed in cold water one time--it's hard to tell--I do not see any fading or anything, and they have a nice smell to them (which is good!).
