The mattress utilizes 18 independent 9" deep air cells to reduce interface pressure for the prevention and treatment of Stages I-IV pressure ulcers. User friendly controls and ease of set-up make this system ideal for institutional use and the home bound patient. The mattress is designed to fit all standard hospital beds. The Power-Pro Elite® True Low Air Loss Alternating Pressure Mattress System supports patient weights up to 1000 pounds. Audible alarm system alerts care giver of power outages. Bladders:Ventilated deep cells have lasered air holes throughout mattress to help reduce skin maceration by reducing excess moisture under patient. Air cells are constructed of thermal polyurethane material. This combination insures strength, durability and patient comfort. Cover:Vyvex® multi-directional stretch fabric transfers moisture away from patients skin. The cover is low shear, washable, anti-microbial, fluid resistant andfire retardant. Cover is loose fitting and will conform to the patient. Hose connections are color codedand feature a transport locking device that insures mattress remains inflated for patient transport or during a power outage. CPR Valve: quickly deflates mattress system for medical emergencies. A simple twist, releases the air immediately. This multi-purpose CPR Valve can be used to inflate or deflate the mattress with our optional blower pump.
