Handmade in Afghanistan, manufacturer stated fur type to be mink, this cannot be confirmed and is unlikely.  Fur type is unknown, it is not smooth and silky, fur is a 1/2"pile, not individual hair shafts. Item has been stored, laid out on bed only for purpose of this photo, non-smoke, non-pet home.
